Are you
looking for a new start?
Administered by the Illinois Department of Human Services, the
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program is a
subsidized employment training program designed to help you to
become more employable through On-the-Job Work Experience,
Vocational Training, and Work & Life Readiness classes. We
offer intensive career guidance and counseling through case
management. You will also be able to take advantage of
our exclusive job development, placement, and retention services to,
ultimately, help you find and maintain employment.

TO QUALIFY:
You must have:
- a pending (94 or 06) or active (04 or 06) IDHS cash
case
- a 2151C referral from your local IDHS office
