Youth Ready Chicago Career Development
Center (YRCCDC) is full of opportunities which provide youth and
young adults with career options and skills needed to market
themselves successfully in the marketplace.
Through coaching individuals to understand and embrace their
competencies, interest, values, and their personal characteristics,
Phalanx Family Services is able to inspire youth and young adults to
better manage their time, finances, career, education, and their
decisions.
During the 6 to 7-week on-site training cycle, a maximum of 40 youth
and young adults complete job training, building a professional
portfolio, receive letters of recommendation, receive interview
preparation and job placement assistance in high growth industries.
CDC Case Managers at Phalanx are readily available to assist
individuals with maximizing their employment opportunities and educational
goals.

YRCCDC Requirements:
- 14 - 24 years of age
- Resident of Chicago
- Complete YRCCDC Application
- Complete 30 hours of Job Skills Training

Career Development Center (CDC) On Wheels
 |
Contact our office for more information on
how your agency can benefit from our "CDC on Wheels"
option.
"CDC on Wheels" allows park districts, schools, churches and
community based organizations (in Region 6) to receive Career
Development services at their facility to better serve their clients
and families.
