Housing is more than shelter; it is the foundation upon which individuals rebuild their lives. Without it, access to employment, healthcare, and community become significantly more difficult. With it, transformation become possible.
Phalanx Family Services was proud to stand alongside community leaders, advocates, and partners at the Home for Good Coalition rally in support of Illinois Senate Bill 4162, legislation aimed at expanding access to housing and essential resources for individuals returning home from prison.
Keith Talley, representing Phalanx Family Services, joined voices with leaders across Illinois in a shared commitment to strengthening pathways to stability and long-term self-sufficiency. Among the delegates was Joakim Noah who actively supports social causes in the Chicago area including resources and rights for returning citizens.
As a proud signatory to the Home for Good campaign, Phalanx Family Services remains committed to advancing solutions that ensure every individual returning home has a place to land and a fair opportunity to thrive.

Phalanx Family Services is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to assist economically-disadvantaged children & families in the pursuit of self-sufficiency.
Our History
Phalanx Family Services formed over two decades ago on July 1, 2003, with less than 5 programs and 20 employees.
We are now an organization of over 70 employees presenting nearly 50 programs, wraparound services, trainings, community partnerships, and 10 free annual community events.
