Phalanx offers wrap-around services to participants to help bridge the gap of financial barriers that may prevent individuals from being successful as they transition into work activity, training, and employment.  We also assist families in crisis providing financial assistance to help stabilize housing.

Know Your Rights

The Know Your Rights initiative provides expungement info via First Defense Legal Aid, to the Roseland community at large​.

We focus on what you should know:

During a traffic stop

Police search your car

Police stop and frisk

Municipal ID

The Chicago CityKey Program was established to bring Chicago together as one community.  It will enable Chicagoans to obtain an optional, valid, government-issued ID that they can use to access a range of services from both the private and public sectors, including using the ID as both a Ventra and Chicago Public Library card.

COORDINATING CITY AGENCIES
Integrating technology so the ID can be used as a Ventra and Chicago Public Library card and the ID will be accepted by all City departments.

PROVIDING DISCOUNTS
Potentially linking ID cards to benefits and passes for recreation and entertainment, sports games, cultural institutions, and goods, and services at partnering businesses.
